• Description: ISO 228-G1/8, G1/4, G1/2, G3/4, G1 etc.

  Application:
  For mechanical connection of fittings and valves. The connection is sealed by pressing two sealing surfaces against each other outside the threads and by placing a suitable seal.

  The National Taper Pipe (NPT) thread type is a conical pipe thread used for pipe fittings. The internal and external threads of the NPT are conical. The NPT thread is only self-sealing at low pressure and if it is not subjected to strong temperature fluctuations. Therefore, it is recommended to use additional sealing material.
