Forced pilot operated

By this type of valve, the servo principle is coupled with direct actuation. Forced pilot operated valves combine the advantages of these types of control. The valves switch from 0 bar up to the maximum operating pressure and are to be used where direct-acting valves are applied.

However, by coupling with the servo principle, smaller and less expensive actuators can be used than with direct-acting valves.
